Description:
The 40' Open-Top Container is designed for cargo that requires top-loading or cannot be easily loaded through conventional container doors. Constructed with durable corrugated steel walls and a wooden floor, it features a removable tarpaulin roof supported by bows and a swivel-out door header for enhanced accessibility.

These structural elements simplify loading and unloading operations, particularly when using cranes or overhead lifting equipment. However, the roof bows serve not only to hold the tarpaulin but also to provide structural stability. For overheight cargo, flatracks may be a more suitable alternative.

Lashing rings, capable of securing loads up to 1,000 kg, are installed along the upper and lower side rails and corner posts. Open-top containers are commonly available in 20' and 40' sizes.
